The scheme “Akhil Bharatiya Civil Services Pratiyogita” was launched by the Department of Sports, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to provide an opportunity for personnel from various government departments of the state to participate annually in the All-India level competitions in various sports, organized by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Government of India.

Offline
- Selection trials for the competition are conducted at the district and state levels, and the selected players are given the opportunity to participate in the Akhil Bharatiya Civil Services Pratiyogita.
- Every year, approximately 150 personnel from various government departments of Uttarakhand benefit from this scheme by participating in the All-India Level Competition in various sports, organized by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions, Government of India, for Central and State Government employees.
