The “Vocational Education Programme” is a scheme under the Samagra Shiksha Programme, implemented by the Secondary Education Department, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to impart vocational education alongside academic learning to students of classes 9 to 12 in selected government secondary schools.

Eligibility

  1. The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
  2. The applicant must be studying in classes 9 to 12 in one of the 200 selected government secondary schools of Uttarakhand.

Application Process

Offline

  • All students studying in classes 9 to 12 in government secondary schools where vocational education is conducted can take admission in the sectors operated under this programme.
  • If a student from another school wishes to study the vocational education curriculum, they must take admission in a school where the vocational education curriculum is being conducted.
  • Students already studying in such schools can choose vocational education as one of their subjects like other subjects. For this, no separate application is required.
  • There is also no need to submit any documents for the selection of vocational education subject.
