Visit to Old/Sick Artistes
6.2/10Younger generations are encouraged to recognize and appreciate the invaluable contributions of veteran Tiatr artistes through organized visits by the Tiatr Artists Guild (TAG). These visits serve to provide companionship and emotional support, ensuring that these artistes feel valued and cared for in their old age. During these visits, members of the tiatr fraternity will check on the health of sick or elderly artistes, whether at their residences or in hospitals. Additionally, TAG offers a one-time financial assistance of Rs. 10,000 to cover medical expenses, which is provided during the first visit. To qualify for this support, artistes must have contributed at least 10 years to tiatr, whether in commercial or non-commercial settings. The scheme not only aims to foster a sense of community but also to ensure that the sacrifices of these artistes are acknowledged and honored by the younger generation.
