The scheme "Visit to Old/Sick Artistes" was launched by the Tiatr Academy under the Art, Culture and Museums Department, Government of Goa. The scheme aims to make our younger generation aware of the contribution and sacrifices of Tiatr artistes of yesteryears. TAG has observed that many veteran tiatr artistes who have contributed to the development of tiatr immensely in the past, today have become old, and often pass their time in sickness/loneliness. Therefore, TAG has formulated this scheme so that occasional visits to these veteran artistes will make them feel that TAG cares for them during their old age.
