The “Various Awards to Individuals/Organizations who have made Outstanding Contributions in the Field of Social Welfare” scheme was launched by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Government of Gujarat. The scheme aims to recognize and honor the exceptional work carried out by individuals and organizations in the field of social welfare, particularly benefiting the Scheduled Caste (SC) community. Under this scheme, awards along with financial assistance are provided as a mark of appreciation for impactful work done in improving the lives of marginalized communities.

• Under this scheme, individuals and organizations receive various awards in recognition of their exceptional contributions to social welfare.

• The applicant should be either an individual or an organization.
• If the applicant is an individual, they should be a resident of Gujarat; if an organization, it should operate within Gujarat.
• The applicant should have made outstanding contributions in the field of social welfare.
• The contributions should specifically benefit or directly impact the Scheduled Caste (SC) community in Gujarat.

Offline

Step 1: The interested applicant should visit (during office hours) office of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department and request a hard copy of the prescribed format of the application form from the staff exclusively entrusted to issue and collect filled-in applications.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attested, if required).
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the office of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department.
