Vahali Dikari Yojana has been implemented by the state government to achieve the objectives of promoting the birth of daughters, preventing female foeticide, promoting female education, and strengthening the position of women in society.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants include:

  • Female children from APL and BPL families
  • Girls from poor villages
  • SC girls
  • No specific education or profession requirements
  • Family income limit of ₹200,000
