The scheme, titled 'Tuition Fee Reimbursement Scheme for Children of Construction Workers Admitted to IIT/IIM', aims to provide financial assistance to the children of registered construction workers in Rajasthan who gain admission to prestigious educational institutions like IITs and IIMs. This initiative is established under the provisions of the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996, and the Rajasthan Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2009. The scheme is applicable to construction workers registered as beneficiaries under the Act and who regularly contribute to the welfare fund. It is effective throughout the state of Rajasthan.
