Details
Under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, transport allowance is provided to children studying in government schools from classes 1 to 12 who are affected by any of the 21 categories of disabilities defined in the Act, such as orthopedic disability, visual impairment, hearing impairment, mental retardation, cerebral palsy, and autism. The allowance is granted for a duration of 6 months at a rate of ₹400 per month.

Eligibility
