The scheme "Transgender Utthan Kosh - Financial Assistance for Studying Bisexual Children" was implemented by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Government of Rajasthan, aims to provide financial assistance for education and upliftment of transgender individuals. Under this scheme, transgender students from class 6th and higher classes receive a monthly stipend to cover accommodation and daily expenses if they live away from their homes for education.

Eligibility

  1. The applicant should be a native of Rajasthan.
  2. The applicant should belong to transgender community.
  3. The applicant should be studying in class 6th or higher class.
  4. The applicant should be residing away from their home for study purpose.
  5. The gross annual income of applicant should be up to ₹8.00 lakh.

Application Process

Offline

Step 1: The interested applicant should visit (during office hours) the concerned Educational Institution and request a hard copy of the prescribed format of the application form from the staff exclusively entrusted to issue and collect filled-in application.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the Educational Institution.
Step 4: Request a receipt or acknowledgment from the Educational Institution to whom the application has been submitted.
Step 5: The concerned institution will forward the application form along with the recommendation to the district office of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department.
Step 6: The District Office, Social Justice and Empowerment Department will examine the received application form within a month and issue offline approval and transfer the amount to the applicant's bank account every month.
