The Training Scheme for Horticulture Skill Development aims to provide skill development training to landless farm laborers at the Center of Excellence under the Agriculture and Co-operation Department. The program is designed to enhance the skills of agricultural laborers, enabling them to improve their employability and productivity in the horticulture sector.

Benefits

  • - Training cost for all beneficiaries is Rs. 1000/- per trainee
  • Rs. 250/- is the trainee fee, while Rs. 750/- covers other expenses such as dining facilities, training literature kits, experiential education tours, trainee kits, honorarium for experts, and administrative expenses
  • Training duration ranges from a minimum of three days to a maximum of five days

Eligibility

The scheme is open to all landless agricultural laborers, including those from general, Scheduled Caste (SC), and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories. There are no income limits for eligibility.

Application Process

Online

  1. Obtain the application form from the District Office of the Deputy Director of Horticulture.
  2. Fill out the application on plain paper.
  3. Attach required documents: Aadhar Card, Bank Pass Book/Cancelled Cheque, and Ration Card.
  4. Submit the completed application to the District Office of the Deputy Director of Horticulture.
