The scheme "Tiatr Script Writing Workshop" is a state-level cultural scheme by the Kala Academy, Department of Art and Culture, Government of Goa. The objective of the scheme is to enrich and promote the writing skills of Tiatr playwrights and to have a healthy and constructive discussion on various aspects of Tiatr script writing amongst the Tiatr writers, participating institutions and artistes. All the Goan tiatr playwrights, artistes and institution representatives, besides experts invited by Kala Academy, are eligible to participate. A hall with infrastructural facilities is made available free of charge. Experts are paid honorarium and travelling expenses. Lunch and refreshments are provided to all participants.

Eligibility

All the Goan tiatr playwrights, artistes and institution representatives, besides experts invited by Kala Academy, are eligible.

Application Process

Offline

  • The interested institutions must apply on plain paper/letterhead to the Member Secretary, Kala Academy, providing all the relevant particulars and details.
  • The application must be submitted within the stipulated date declared by Kala Academy every year.

Authority to Receive Applications: Member Secretary, Kala Academy.
Selection Criteria/Procedure: Experts decided by the Advisory Committee. All participants who have applied in response to the press communique.
Authority for Redressal of Grievances: Member Secretary/Chairman, Kala Academy, Goa.
