The scheme "Tiatr Research Scholarship Program" was launched by the Tiatr Academy (TAG) under the Art, Culture and Museums Department, Government of Goa. The scheme aims to encourage young students to undertake research in different aspects of Tiatr, its song, and music. The scheme provides scholarships to college and university students for research related to Tiatr, which must be conducted in English and Konkani (Roman script only). It also includes the publication of the approved research work in book form by TAG, with 100 copies provided to the student concerned in addition to the scholarship amount. The applicant must submit a report of the research carried out duly signed by either the guide or the head of the institution.
Benefits
- Scholarship Amount The amount of each scholarship will be decided by Tiatr Academy of Goa (TAG) from time to time. Publication of Research Work The research work of the students will be printed by Tiatr Academy of Goa (TAG) in book form after approval by the Recommendation Board. Copies of Published Work Each student concerned will receive 100 copies of their printed research work in addition to the scholarship amount. Scholarship Amount

Number of Scholarships
TAG will offer scholarships in three categories every year:
◦ PhD: 1 scholarship
◦ Post-Graduation: 3 scholarships
◦ Graduation: 6 scholarships
*Scholarships will be for every academic year.
*A scholarship will be given only once in a particular category; however, the same applicant is free to apply for other categories in subsequent academic years.
Eligibility
- The applicant must be a bonafide student who does research work or a project related to Tiatr.
- The applicant must conduct research work in English and Konkani (Roman script only).
- The applicant should have secured at least 50% marks in the last examination.
- The applicant must submit a report of the research carried out, duly signed either by the guide or the head of the institution.

Step 1: The interested applicant should take a printout of the prescribed format of the application form.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields: name of the applicant. Attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required). Sign the application form and mention the date.
