The scheme "Swayam Saksham Scheme" by the Social Justice & Empowerment Department, Government of Gujarat, aims to instill a sense of self-reliance among the youth pursuing vocational education/training. For Doctor (Clinic), Physiotherapy Clinic, Biomedical Laboratory, Lawyer Office, Engineering Unit, Chemist Shop, Architect Office, Chartered Accountant, Financial Consulting Level Office, etc. The scheme is implemented by the Gujarat Gopalak Vikas Nigam.

Benefits

  • 1. The scheme provides 95% of the loan amount to eligible youth up to a maximum limit of ₹5 00 000/-. 1. The loan carries an interest rate of 6% per annum. Note: Beneficiaries are required to contribute 5% of the project cost

Eligibility

  1. The applicant should belong to the Rabari and Bharwad castes from the socially and educationally backward classes.
  2. The applicant's age should be between 18 and 35 years.
  3. The applicant's annual income should not exceed ₹3,00,000/-.

Application Process

Step 1: Register on the Official Portal

  • Go to the Official Website of Gujarat Gopalak Development Corporation. - Scroll down on the homepage, find the "Swayam Saksham Scheme," and click on "Apply Now".
  • You will be directed to the application form.

Step 2: Access and Fill Out the Application Form

  • Provide Aadhaar, Ration, Voter ID, full name (Last, First, Father/Husband), address, district, taluka, village, PIN, date of birth, age, caste, subcaste, phone, mobile, email, gender, and marital status.
  • For each applicable qualification, tick the checkbox and fill in the Degree, Board/University Name, Academic year, and Percentage obtained.
  • Fill in details about the college/institution admitted to, university affiliation, course name, enrollment number, organisation address, website, course duration (in years and semester), and date of admission.
  • Specify who accredited the course/institution, their name, and address. Proof of accreditation must be submitted.
  • Enter income certificate number, issue date, issuing officer's name, total annual family income (up to ₹ 3,00,000/-), and parent/guardian's occupation.
  • If "Physically Handicapped," select "Yes" or "No". If you selected "Yes", provide the percentage (in %).
  • Indicate if any family member works in a government or private job. If "Yes," provide their Name, Designation, Place, and Salary details.
  • Select your Education Qualification: Uneducated, Educated, Graduation, Post Graduation, or Other Degree.
  • If you have taken a past loan, select "Yes" or "No". If you selected "Yes", provide loan details (date, amount, paid, remaining) and your account number.
  • Provide bank account number, bank name, branch name, name as per account, account type (Saving/Current), MICR code, and IFSC code.

Step 3: Review and Final Submission

  • Carefully review each module. Use the preview option to examine the application before final submission. Fill out the provided "CAPTCHA" and Click on “Submit”.

Track and Review Status

  • Applicant will receive an Application ID/Reference Number. Save or print the acknowledgement for future tracking.
  • Go to the Official Website of Gujarat Gopalak Development Corporation. - Scroll down and locate the Know App Status. Click on "Know App Status".
  • Select the Scheme name, Enter App No., and Birth Date. Fill out the Captcha and click on Submit.
