The National Youth Corps, initiated by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, is a volunteership program aimed at harnessing the potential of dedicated youth aged 18 to 29 years. Participants can engage in nation-building activities for up to two years, contributing to various sectors while gaining valuable experience.

A volunteership scheme by Ministry of Youth Affairs And Sports to tap the potential of the disciplined and dedicated youth In the age group of 18 to 29 years who have the inclination and spirit to engage in nation building exercises, to serve up to two years in Nation Building activities for which they would receive a monthly honorarium of Rs- 5000/- .
Each NYV is required to be IT Savvy. Further NYVs should have the capability of preparing report/documentation of youth program and upload online. NYC should also know about preparing reports for media/news statement. Each NYV should know the using of required mobile Apps (for example Digidhan, Digital India etc).
The NYC Scheme is being implemented by Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS).

Eligibility
- The applicant must be between 18 - 29 years of age.
- The applicant must have passed Class 10th.
Application Process
Online
The online application form is available on www.nyks.nic.in
After successful submission of online application form, an Application number is generated automatically and displayed on the screen which should be noted for future reference.
Offline
The Kendra will upload the application form pertaining to offline application received if any by candidates in stipulated time period.
District Youth Coordinator can download and take the print out of the online application received.
Information regarding interview for selection will be informed by email and SMS/whatsapp message.
The applicant are required to bring the filled in application form along with all relevant documents in original as well as photocopy and two recent passport size photographs at the time of interview, if shortlisted.
