Swami Vivekananda Exam Oriented Residential Training

The scheme "Swami Vivekananda Exam Oriented Residential Training" was launched by the Directorate of Employment and Training, Department of Labour and Employment, Government of Gujarat. The scheme provides exam-oriented residential training programs and coaching facilities specifically designed for defence services examinations and conducts comprehensive preparation sessions covering written examinations, physical fitness training, personality development, and interview preparation. The applicant must be a resident of Gujarat state and must be aspiring for recruitment in Army, Air Force, Navy, Paramilitary Forces or Police Forces with appropriate age and educational qualifications as per the respective service requirements. The scheme is implemented by the Directorate of Employment and Training under the Labour and Employment Department, Government of Gujarat and applications for this scheme are accepted through designated employment exchanges and training centers across the state.

Training and Coaching Support

• Residential Training: Comprehensive exam-oriented coaching in residential format.- Defence Examination Preparation: Specialized training for Army, Air Force, Navy recruitment examinations.- Police Force Training: Preparation for Police Force recruitment examinations.- Paramilitary Force Coaching: Training for Central Armed Police Forces and other paramilitary recruitment.

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Gujarat.
• The applicant must be aspiring for recruitment in Army, Air Force, Navy, Paramilitary Forces or Police Forces.
• The applicant must meet the age criteria as prescribed for respective defence and police services.
• The applicant must possess minimum educational qualifications as required for the specific service examination they are preparing for.
• The applicant must have completed relevant educational requirements as per Central Government norms for defence services.
• The applicant must meet basic physical fitness standards for defence and police services.
• The applicant must be medically fit as per general health requirements.
• The applicant must be willing to undergo rigorous physical training programs.
• The applicant must belong to economically weaker sections or demonstrate financial need for training assistance.
• The applicant must not be receiving similar training assistance from other government schemes simultaneously.

Offline

Step 1:**** Registration with Employment Exchange
The applicant must first register with the nearest District Employment Exchange office in Gujarat and obtain a valid employment registration number for accessing training programs.
Step 2: Medical and Physical Fitness Assessment
The applicant must undergo preliminary medical check-up and physical fitness assessment at the designated center to ensure they meet basic standards for defence training.
Step 3: Training Program Inquiry
The candidate should visit the Directorate of Employment and Training office / the nearest District Employment Office / the Designated Training Center and request the hard copy of the prescribed format of the application form for the scheme "Swami Vivekananda Exam Oriented Residential Training".
Step 4: Form Completion and Documentation
The candidate should fill the application form completely with accurate personal details, educational background, preferred service category (Army/Navy/Air Force/Police/Paramilitary), and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
Step 5: Application Submission and Interview
The completed application with all documents must be submitted at one of the following -

• Directorate of Employment and Training, Block No. 1, 3rd Floor, Dr. Jivraj Mehta Bhavan, Gandhinagar - 382010.
• District Employment Exchanges across all districts in Gujarat.
• Designated Training Centers (as notified by the Directorate of Employment and Training).

Step 6: Selection and Admission
The candidate may be required to appear for a preliminary interview or counseling session. Based on the evaluation of application, documents verification, and interview performance, selected candidates will be notified about their admission to the residential training program.
Step 7: Training Commencement
Selected candidates must report to the designated training center on the specified date with necessary personal items and documents for the commencement of the residential training program.
