Conditions
- The applicant must not have availed such benefit during the last three years.
- Only one applicant per family shall be selected for financial assistance.
Eligibility
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- The applicant must belong to Tea Tribes and Adivasi community.
- The applicant shall be between 20 to 35 years of age, as on 1st January of the year of application.
- The applicant must be a self-employed youth.
- The applicant must have less than 10 bighas of land in the name of his family.
Preference
- Candidates who have successfully completed at least 3 months skills training in the trade shall be given preference.
- Physically Handicapped candidates may also apply and shall be given due weight-age as per Government norms.
Exclusions
- The applicant must not be members of any Government/Semi Government authorities/boards, Panchayati Raj Institution members, Selection Committee members, or Permanent salaried staff of Tea Garden.
- The applicant must not have availed such benefit during the last three years.
Application Process
Online
Step 1: Portal Access and Scheme Selection
A. Navigating to the Portal: The applicant must first open the official Tea Tribes Welfare Department URL, www.ttwd.assam.gov.in, and then click the "Online Application" link to be redirected to the SIRISH application portal.
B. Initial Login or Registration: New users must register themselves on the online portal, while existing users will log in using the username and password created during prior registration.
C. Selecting the Scheme: Once the applicant is logged into the Dashboard, they must select the appropriate scholarship scheme from the dropdown menu available.
Step 2:****** Entering Personal Details
A. Inputting Mandatory Data: Enter "Personal Details" where all required information in the application form must be accurately provided.
B. Specifying Location Details: Location data, including District, Assembly Constituency, and Sub-Division, must be selected, along with other essential address details like Village/Town.
C. Saving Personal Information: After filling in all necessary fields in this step, click on the "Save Form Details" button to proceed further with the application.
Step 3:****** Document Upload
A. Uploading Required Files: Under the "Upload Documents" tab, upload all required supporting documents in the specified image formats (e.g., JPG/JPEG).
B. Document Formatting Check: All uploaded documents must adhere to specified maximum file sizes (e.g., photo maximum 50 KB, other documents generally 100 KB) before they can be saved.
Step 4:****** Updating Bank Details
A. Providing Account Information: Enter the Bank Account Number and the name of the bank under the "Update Bank Details" tab.
B. Entering Branch Identification: Details essential for electronic transfer, specifically the Bank Branch Name and the corresponding IFSC Code, must be accurately provided.
C. Securing Financial Data: Once all bank details have been correctly entered, click on the "Save Bank Details" button to confirm the information.
Step 5:****** Preview and Final Submission
A. Application Review: "Preview Application" displays all details entered in the form for a thorough and final check.
B. Final Confirmation: After cross-checking all information and uploaded documents for accuracy, the applicant must confirm the application by clicking the "Proceed with Submit Application" button.
C. Tracking Status: Upon successful submission, an application number will be visible on the screen, allowing the applicant to view the status under the "APPLICATION STATUS" tab.
