Details

Under this Scheme, individuals (Rickshaw Drivers and others) and institutions (Educational, cooperatives, Gram Panchayat, Nagar Palika, Municipal Corporation, and NGOs) interested in purchasing Battery Operated Three-wheelers are eligible for financial assistance of Rs. 48,000 after the purchase from GEDA authorized manufacturers on a reimbursement basis. This scheme has been in implementation since 2018-19, allowing eligible parties to save on petrol and reduce environmental pollution by using battery-operated three-wheelers for the transportation of passengers and goods.

Individuals (Rickshaw Drivers and others) and institutions (Educational, cooperatives, Gram Panchayat, Nagar Palika, Municipal Corporation, and NGOs) interested in purchasing battery-operated three-wheelers are eligible. No specific income limits or educational qualifications are required.

Application Process

Online

  1. Obtain the application form from GEDA office or download it from the official site.
  2. Submit the completed application form along with required attachments (Aadhar Card, copy of license, identity card) to the GEDA office through vehicle dealers appointed by authorized manufacturers.
  3. The application form will be available from 1 April 2024.
