Details
The State Sewerage Scheme aims to improve sewerage infrastructure in seven cities of Rajasthan: Balotra, Banswara, Sri Ganganagar, Deedwana, Makrana, Fatehpur Shekhawati, and Nathdawar. The total sanctioned amount for the project is Rs. 474.44 crore, with funding shared between the Government of India (60%) and the Government of Rajasthan (20%). As of now, work has been completed in five cities, while work is still in progress in two cities. The total length of the sewer line is 498.13 km, with 496 km completed, indicating a physical progress of 98% and a financial progress of 98% (Rs. 466.38 crore). The scheme has received funds from the finance department in various years, including Rs. 157.24 crore in 2013-14, Rs. 40.00 crore in 2015-16, Rs. 61.00 crore in 2016-17, and Rs. 22.05 crore in 2019-20.
