Step 1: The recommendation for the award must be initiated by authorized officials or bodies, which include District/Block level Public Representation Institutions (PRIs), Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs), Members of Parliament (MPs), Women’s Organisations, Child Development Project Officers (CDPO), District Programme Officers of Integrated Child Development Services Scheme, or the District Collector.
Step 2: The initiated recommendation, detailing the exemplary performance of the Anganwadi Worker, must then be put forward to the designated Scrutiny Committee for further review and selection.
