Details
The Aastha Scheme provides Aastha cards to families with two or more members who are specially abled, with more than 40% disability. These families receive benefits equivalent to those provided to Below Poverty Line (BPL) families. Since 2013-14, families holding the Aastha card can avail benefits from various government schemes run by the state government. Budget provisions for Aastha cardholders are maintained by all relevant departments in their respective schemes.

Eligibility
Families with two or more members who are specially abled and have an annual income not exceeding ₹1.20 lakh.

Families with an annual income exceeding ₹1.20 lakh.

The Aastha card is issued at the directorate level based on the data from the UDID card. To apply, families must submit their application along with required documents to the District Social Justice and Empowerment Department office in their respective district.
