Details

The scheme “Special Incentive Assistance to Socially and Educationally Backward Class Trainees for Pre-Preparation of Competitive Examination” was launched by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Government of Gujarat. The scheme aims to encourage SEBC candidates to pursue coaching for government competitive exams by providing financial support. Under this scheme, eligible trainees receive up to ₹20,000 or the actual coaching fee paid (whichever is lower) for preparing for Class 1, 2, or 3 government job exams conducted by state or central bodies.

  • State-Level: Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC), Gujarat Secondary Service Selection Board (GSSSB), (3) State Police Recruitment, Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board (GPSB), etc
  • Central-Level: Banking, Railways, Army Recruitment, Central Police Force (CRPF, BSF, CISF etc), Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Applicable for Exams:
  • Class 1, 2, and 3 level government posts. Mode of Disbursement:
  • Amount is credited via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to the trainee& 39;s bank account

Eligibility

  1. The applicant should be a student.
  2. The applicant must belong to the Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC).
  3. The applicant must be a permanent resident of Gujarat.
  4. The applicant must have passed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent.
  5. The applicant must be preparing for a recognized Class 1, 2, or 3 competitive exam of State or Central Government.
  6. The applicant must have paid coaching fees and should have a valid receipt.
  7. The annual family income of the applicant must not exceed ₹4,50,000/-.

Step 01: The eligible applicant may visit the e-Samaj Kalyan Portal: https://esamajkalyan.gujarat.gov.in/
Step 02: On the home page, under the tab ‘Citizen Login’, click on New User ‘Please Register Here’.
Step 03: Enter your Full Name as per Aadhaar Card, Gender, Date of Birth, Aadhaar Card Number, Email ID, Caste etc. and then click on ‘Register’.
Step 04: After successful registration, the applicants can login through their User ID and Password.
Step 05: Now, click on ‘User Profile’ to update your profile.
Step 06: Fill in all the mandatory information and then click on ‘Update’.
Step 07: After updating the profile successfully, select the scheme appearing on the home page; an application form will open.
Step 08: Fill in all the mandatory details in the application form and upload all the relevant documents.
Step 09: Now agree with the terms & conditions and click on ‘Save Application’.
Step 10: Submit the application form and take out the print of the application for future reference. The applicant can note down the application number to track the application status by logging into the portal using their User ID and Password.
