विवरण

The Solar Power Pump Project, under the Prime Minister's KUSUM scheme, aims to provide standalone solar energy pump systems with a capacity of up to 7.5 HP to farmers for irrigation purposes. This initiative is implemented by the Horticulture Department of Rajasthan in collaboration with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India. The project offers a 60% subsidy to eligible farmers who do not have agricultural electricity connections and currently rely on diesel pumps or other alternative means for irrigation. If a farmer wishes to install a 10 HP pump, they will receive a subsidy only for the 7.5 HP capacity. The project is part of the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JLNNSM) and aims to enhance irrigation facilities for farmers.

पात्रता

Farmers who do not have agricultural electricity connections and currently depend on diesel pumps or other alternative means for irrigation can apply for this scheme. The scheme is open to all categories of farmers, including SC, ST, OBC, General, and Minority.
