The scheme “Solar Energy Assistance Scheme” is implemented by the Uttarakhand Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (UKBOCWWB) under the Labour Department, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to provide solar energy plates/panels to the families of registered construction workers.

  1. The applicant must be a registered construction worker with the Uttarakhand Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.

Application Process

Online - via CSC

  • The online application can be submitted through Shramik Suvidha Kendras. Along with the application form, applicants are required to attach a self-attested photocopy of their Shramik Card, Aadhaar Card, Self-Declaration Certificate, and a certificate confirming that no similar benefit has been availed from any other department.
  • After verification during the departmental investigation, solar energy plates/panels are provided to the beneficiary through the concerned supplier/dealer.
  • This benefit can be availed only once in a lifetime.
