The Smart Farming & Agriculture Development Programme aims to enhance agricultural productivity among Scheduled Tribe (ST) farmers through various initiatives. It includes demonstrations of improved variety Minikits for Kharif, Rabi, and Zaid crops, helping farmers maximize production on limited land. The program also provides storage bins for safe storage of farm produce, movable threshing floors to facilitate easy harvesting with minimal post-harvest losses, and irrigation pipelines to reduce water wastage and improve water use efficiency, addressing the recurring issue of water scarcity. Additionally, it promotes horticulture development by organizing vegetable demonstrations to increase farmers' income and meet their nutritional needs. Farmers can also access plant protection equipment at subsidized rates to safeguard their crops from pest attacks.

All ST farmers with land holdings are eligible to apply.
