The scheme "Skill Development" implemented by the Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology aims to enhance the practical knowledge and research capabilities of students pursuing Earth Science and allied subjects. Through this scheme, specialised summer and winter training programmes are offered to postgraduate and integrated postgraduate students in disciplines such as geochemistry, sedimentology, tectonics, geomorphology, environmental geoscience, and paleontology.

Eligibility

  1. The applicant must possess a postgraduate degree in any discipline of Geosciences, Earth Sciences, or allied fields.
  2. The applicant may also be pursuing an integrated postgraduate degree course and should be in the fourth or fifth year of the curriculum.
  3. The applicant must be from fields such as geophysics, geochemistry, structural geology, sedimentology, paleontology, environmental geoscience, and related disciplines.
