Details

Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries will receive a financial assistance of ₹55,000 for their adult unmarried daughters. The scheme aims to support women and their daughters in pursuing education, vocational training, starting their own businesses, or for their marriage.

Eligibility

  1. The father or mother of the girl, or both, must have been registered as a construction worker for at least 3 months in the division.
  2. A maximum of two daughters of the beneficiary can receive the assistance, or one daughter of a female beneficiary.
  3. The female beneficiary must be unmarried, or the daughter must be at least 18 years old and unmarried.
  4. The daughter/female beneficiary must have passed at least the 8th grade.
  5. A savings bank account must be in the name of the daughter/female beneficiary.
  6. If the beneficiary has their own house, it must have a toilet.
  7. The beneficiary must have worked as a construction worker for at least 90 days in the year preceding the application date.
  8. The assistance will be provided only after physical verification of the beneficiary's status as a construction worker.

Exclusions

Beneficiaries who have previously received assistance under the division's marriage assistance scheme are not eligible for this scheme.

Application Process

Online

  1. Fill out the application form (Form-1) and submit it to the local labor office or authorized officer of the division.
  2. Applications can also be submitted online.
  3. The application must be submitted within one year of the beneficiary's registration date and within 6 months of the daughter turning 18 or within 6 months of the scheme's implementation date, whichever is applicable.
  4. After verification, the assistance amount will be transferred electronically (RTGS/NEFT) or through an account payee cheque to the bank account of the female beneficiary or the unmarried daughter.
