A three-day classical music and percussion competition and ceremony is organized on the death anniversary (February 26) of the late Pt. Nandan Mehta, an internationally renowned percussionist from Gujarat. The competition awards prizes of Rs. 11,000 for first place, Rs. 8,000 for second place, and Rs. 5,000 for third place to the winning artists.
