Shaktidoot Yojana has been implemented by the Gujarat Government in 2006 for talented players in the sports field of the state to achieve success at the national and international levels, thereby enhancing the reputation of both the state and the nation. The scheme aims to identify the potential of promising players and provide them with necessary sports-related facilities, guiding them towards excellence. It offers encouragement through provisions such as nutritious food, advanced sports facilities, modern equipment, sports kits, training and competition expenses, expert coaching services, and psychological workshops tailored to the players' needs based on their performance and future prospects. Players selected for the Shaktidoot Yojana receive support up to a maximum limit of 25.00 lakhs per player per year.
