Details
The objective of this scheme is to provide state assistance and support to senior citizens (aged 60 years or above) who are original residents of Rajasthan, enabling them to undertake a pilgrimage to one of the specified holy places located outside the state/country at least once in their lifetime.

Eligibility
To be eligible for this scheme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be an original resident of Rajasthan and aged 60 years or above (age is calculated as of April 1, 2019).
- Must not be an income taxpayer.
- Must not have previously availed benefits from the Senior Citizen Pilgrimage Scheme.
- Must provide a self-declaration stating that they have not undertaken a pilgrimage under this scheme before.
- Must not be living on alms.
- Must be physically and mentally fit for travel and not suffer from any infectious diseases such as TB, congestive cardiac issues, respiratory diseases, coronary insufficiency, coronary thrombosis, mental disorders, or infectious leprosy.
Exclusions
- If it is found that the applicant/traveler has provided false information or concealed facts while applying, they may be denied benefits at any time.
- Violation of the conditions mentioned in Rule 15 may also lead to denial of benefits.
- Individuals declared ineligible under Rules 8 (1) and (2) may be barred from future applications and benefits.
Application Process
Online
Applications will be accepted online only through the Devasthan Department's portal. Applicants and their accompanying assistants or spouses must possess a Jan Aadhar card, and the applicants' Aadhar card must be linked to the Jan Aadhar card. Applicants should indicate their preference for three pilgrimage sites in order of priority. Keep a printed copy of the application for reference.
Note: Applicants are advised to complete the registration process for the Jan Aadhar card before applying. This will eliminate the need to upload photos and documents and fill in other details.
