Eligibility

To be eligible for this scheme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be an original resident of Rajasthan and aged 60 years or above (age is calculated as of April 1, 2019).
  • Must not be an income taxpayer.
  • Must not have previously availed benefits from the Senior Citizen Pilgrimage Scheme.
  • Must provide a self-declaration stating that they have not undertaken a pilgrimage under this scheme before.
  • Must not be living on alms.
  • Must be physically and mentally fit for travel and not suffer from any infectious diseases such as TB, congestive cardiac issues, respiratory diseases, coronary insufficiency, coronary thrombosis, mental disorders, or infectious leprosy.

  1. If it is found that the applicant/traveler has provided false information or concealed facts while applying, they may be denied benefits at any time.
  2. Violation of the conditions mentioned in Rule 15 may also lead to denial of benefits.
