Details

The Self Employment Program provides loans for unemployed women and youth, enabling them to start their businesses with innovative ideas across various sectors. The scheme offers loans for individual enterprises with a maximum project cost of Rs 2 lakhs and for group enterprises with a maximum project cost of Rs 10 lakhs.

Benefits

  • - Provision of interest subsidy on loans for individual enterprises (Project Cost Rs 2 lakhs max) and group enterprises (Project Cost Rs 10 lakhs max)
  • Individual and group enterprises will receive subsidized loans at 7% per annum. The interest subsidy amount (the difference between the prevailing rate and 7% per annum) will be reimbursed to the banks
  • An additional 3% per annum interest subvention will be provided to Women Self-Help Groups (WSHGs) subject to timely repayment
  • Interest subsidy will be granted only in cases of timely repayment of the loan

Eligibility

Any unemployed woman or youth can apply. There are no specific educational or professional requirements, and the scheme is applicable to all social and economic standards.

Required attachments include Aadhar Card, Ayushman Card, Bank Pass Book/Cancelled Cheque, EWS Card, Passport Size Photos, Quotations, Ration Card, and Swarna Jayanti Card.
