The scheme “Seemant Parvatiya Janpad Baal Vigyan Mahotsav” is implemented by the Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology (UCOST) under the Science and Technology Department, Government of Uttarakhand. It aims to provide students from classes 6 to 12 of government/non-government schools in the remote and border districts of the state an opportunity to participate in various science competitions and promote scientific awareness in these areas.

Eligibility

  1. The applicant must be a student from classes 6 to 12, studying in a government or non-government school in any of the six border districts of the state: Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Champawat, Bageshwar, or Pithoragarh.

Application Process

Offline

All students from classes 6th to 12th can participate at the block level. The students selected at the block level then participate at the district level, and those selected at the district level get an opportunity to participate at the state level.
