College, Gurukul Narsan, Haridwar; V.C.S.G. Uttarakhand University of Horticulture and Forestry, Bharsar, Pauri Garhwal; and the College of Horticulture, V.C.S.G. Uttarakhand University of Horticulture and Forestry, Ranichauri, are eligible for scholarships, which are awarded to the sons and daughters of small and marginal farmers, agricultural laborers, market laborers, and their dependents to support their higher education in these fields.

Eligibility

  1. The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
  2. The applicant must be a student.
  3. The applicant must be the son or daughter of a small or marginal farmer, agricultural laborer, or mandi worker, or their dependent.
  4. The applicant’s total annual family income must not exceed ₹3,00,000/-.

Application Process

Offline

  • The applicant must obtain a certificate from the concerned Mandi Committee stating that they belong to the respective Mandi area.
  • Eligible students must apply to the university or college.
  • Meritorious students will be selected by a committee constituted by the university or college.
