The Scheme for Granting Assistance to Processing Units in APMC (General Area) aims to create facilities for processing, sorting, grading, cleaning, packaging, and valuation at the Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) level. The total project cost, excluding land, is supported with financial assistance based on the classification of market committees. For 'A' and 'B' grade market committees, 25% of the project cost is covered, while for 'C' and 'D' grade market committees, 50% is covered, with a maximum assistance limit of Rs. 1.5 crore.
