- The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
- The applicant must be a farmer and must hold a valid Udhyan Card.

Application Process
Offline
- Applications for garden fencing must be submitted to the officers or staff at the Horticulture Mobile team Centres. The application should include land-related documents such as Khasra and Khatauni, Aadhaar card, PAN card, Udhyan card, bank account details, and mobile number. Currently, the application process is offline.
- If a farmer faces difficulty in filling out the application, personnel at the respective Horticulture Mobile team Centre will provide assistance. Once submitted, the application is forwarded by the Centre to the district level, which then sends it to the Directorate. Upon approval of the farmer’s proposal by the Directorate, a government order is issued, authorizing the district to grant approval/work orders accordingly.
- Upon acceptance, the district officer sends the farmer an approval letter and informs them via phone. The fencing is then carried out in the presence of departmental officials, followed by an on-site inspection. After verification, the subsidy is disbursed directly into the farmer’s account.
