Details
The Scheduled Tribe Pre-Matric Scholarship for students studying in classes 6 to 8 provides financial assistance of ₹75 per month for male students and ₹125 per month for female students for a maximum of 10 months. To be eligible, students must belong to the Scheduled Tribe category, be enrolled as regular students in government or privately recognized schools, and their parents or guardians must not be income tax payers. Additionally, students should not be receiving any other scholarships or allowances from central or state government sources, and they must not reside in hostels run by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment. The scholarship is only available for one year per class, and students must reapply if they continue in the same class the following year. Students enrolled in government Swami Vivekananda Model Schools are also eligible. Aadhaar and Jan Aadhar authentication are mandatory for the students.

Eligibility
Students studying in classes 6 to 8 who belong to the Scheduled Tribe category:
- Must be enrolled as regular students in government or recognized private schools.
- Parents or guardians must not be income tax payers.
- Must not be receiving any other scholarships or allowances from government sources.
- Must not have failed in the previous class.
- Must not reside in hostels run by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment.
Exclusions
Students who are income tax payers, receiving other scholarships, or residing in specific hostels are not eligible.
