The Samras Hostel Admission scheme aims to create a New INDIA characterized by compatibility, coherence, and interaction among all castes, fostering an ideal community in society. It provides a separate quota for Persons with Disabilities, Children of Widows, Orphans, and individuals from the Backward classes among SC, ST, and OBC communities. The scheme offers lodging, boarding, and other necessary facilities such as Yoga, a Computer lab, and a Library to all students pursuing graduation and post-graduation at no cost. In the future, the Government of Gujarat plans to establish new Samras hostels in prime locations across district places in Gujarat.
