Samman Pension Yojana for All First-Generation Living Legal Heirs of Freedom Fighters of Uttarakhand State

The scheme "Samman Pension Yojana" is implemented by the Police Department under the Department of Home, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance in the form of a pension to all first-generation living legal heirs of freedom fighters residing in the state of Uttarakhand.

Samman Pension Amount: ₹4,800/- per month

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttarakhand.
• The applicant must be a first-generation living legal heir of a freedom fighter.

1. The application form can be obtained from the office of the District Magistrate of the concerned district and must be submitted there along with the required documents.
2. The Samman Pension will be sanctioned only after verification at the level of the District Magistrate.
3. The pension will commence only after the lifetime of the widowed wife or widower husband of the deceased freedom fighter. All surviving first-generation legal heirs of the deceased freedom fighter, including sons and daughters (married or unmarried), as well as the widow of a first-generation heir, will be jointly entitled to receive the pension.
