The scheme “Samaaveshit Shiksha” is an initiative under the Samagra Shiksha Programme, has been implemented by the Secondary Education Department, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to provide equal and inclusive educational opportunities to all children with special needs (Divyang children) studying in government schools from Classes 1 to 12.

Benefits

  • - Escort facility, home-based education, sports activities, exposure visits, stipend for girls, and free equipment are provided to all children with special needs studying in government schools from Classes 1 to 12
  • Marking and equipment distribution camps are also organized for such children, where assistive devices are provided free of cost as per the requirement of disabled children

Eligibility

  1. The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
  2. The applicant must be a child with a disability, aged 6 to 18 years, eligible for all facilities approved by the Government of India under the ‘Samaveshit Shiksha’ scheme.
  3. The applicant must be studying in government schools from Classes 1 to 12.
