Eligibility
- The applicant must be studying in Class 5 in Uttarakhand.
- The applicant must have passed Classes 3 and 4 from the same school where the applicant is currently studying in Class 5.
Application Process
Offline
- For admission, the Uttarakhand Board of School Education, Ramnagar conducts an entrance examination. The Board invites applications from students through advertisements published every year from September to December.
- The application form can be downloaded from the Board’s website: https://ubse.uk.gov.in/. Along with the form, the applicant must attach and submit the following documents to the school where they are currently studying: photograph, Aadhaar card, caste certificate, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate (for general category), orphan certificate, mark sheets of Classes 3 and 4, and the admission card of Class 5. - All completed application forms are submitted to the Block Education Officer’s office by the respective school. After submission, the applicant receives the admission card from the school and must appear for the entrance examination in February.
- Based on the merit list, the school informs the selected applicant, who then takes admission in Class 6 at a residential Rajiv Gandhi Navodaya Vidyalaya / Rajiv Gandhi Abhinav Vidyalaya.
