The scheme "Research Fellowship Scheme for Scheduled Tribe Candidates" was launched by the Tribal Area Development Department, Government of Rajasthan. Benefits
- Financial Assistance:
- The selected scholar shall be paid @ ₹15,000/- per month
- A contingency grant of ₹40,000/- shall be given to the candidate for meeting the recurring expenditure viz. books/ Journals/Traveling/Stationery etc. Tenure: The tenure of the scholarship shall be for a period of maximum five years from the date of sanction from the Tribal Research Institute or completion of Ph.D. whichever is earlier. Extension of Fellowship Term & Final Payments: The scholarship term shall not be extended under any circumstances. If, per chance, the candidate fails to complete his/her Ph.D work within the period of five years, the final installment of scholarship (equivalent to six month and last installment of contingency) shall be withheld until the Ph.D. is awarded to the candidate
