The Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA) is a centrally sponsored scheme aimed at enhancing the capabilities of Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) to effectively deliver on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The scheme is funded by both the central and state governments in a 60:40 ratio. It focuses on capacity building for elected representatives and officials in PRIs, ensuring better governance, social inclusion, and economic development in rural areas.
