Details

The Honorable Chief Minister of Rajasthan announced that small and marginal elderly farmers will also be included in the old age pension scheme. In line with this announcement, the state government issued the Rajasthan Social Security Small and Marginal Elderly Farmers Honor Pension Rules, 2019, which came into effect on March 1, 2019.

Benefits

  • - Monthly pension of ₹750for pensioners under 75 years of age
  • Monthly pension of ₹1000for pensioners aged 75 years and above
  • Monthly pension of ₹750 for pensioners under 75 years of age
  • Monthly pension of ₹1000 for pensioners aged 75 years and above

Eligibility

As per the rules, families of small and marginal farmers in Rajasthan who are residents of the state and meet the age criteria:

  • Women aged 55 years and above
  • Men aged 58 years and above

Exclusions

Applicants who are already receiving pensions under the Rajasthan Social Security Old Age, Widow, Abandoned, and Divorcee Pension Rules, 2013, or those whose family members are employed in government or public sector jobs, or are pensioners, are not eligible for this pension.
