Participants must submit a brief report on the drama viewed along with ticket counterfoils to receive reimbursement from the Tiatr Academy of Goa.

The scheme "Raising the Standard of Tiatr" was launched by the Tiatr Academy under the Art, Culture and Museums Department, Government of Goa. The scheme aims to improve the quality and standard of Tiatr performances, which is the most popular dramatic form of Goa. The scheme provides opportunities for actors, directors, backstage artists, and script writers to witness high-standard dramas in Hindi, Marathi, English, and other languages, by reimbursing the amount spent on purchasing tickets for up to two persons. The applicant must submit a brief report about the drama witnessed, highlighting its positive and negative points, along with the counter-foils of the tickets, for the reimbursement to be processed. The scheme is implemented by the Tiatr Academy of Goa. The applications for this scheme are accepted by submitting required documents to the office.

Benefits

  • - Reimbursement of the value of ticket(s) for witnessing high-standard dramas
  • To cover the cost incurred by artists for purchasing tickets to watch high-standard plays, thereby encouraging them to improve their performance quality. The value of the ticket(s) will be reimbursed by the Tiatr Academy of Goa after a brief report about the drama seen and the counter-foils of tickets are submitted to the office. The artist who has witnessed the drama must submit a brief report highlighting the positive and negative points of the play

Eligibility

  • The applicant must be a director, script writer, artist, or backstage artist.
  • The applicant must submit a self-attested copy of their Aadhaar Card along with the application.

Application Process

Offline

Step 1: The interested applicant should take a printout of the prescribed format of the application form.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required). Sign the application form and mention the date.
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the copies of the mandatory documents to -
