Details

The Prevention of Under-Nutrition and Reduction of Nutritional Anemia among Adolescents (PURNA) Project, under the Women and Child Development Department, aims to prevent and manage malnutrition among girl children and adolescents. The scheme's objectives include reducing malnutrition, anemia, and early marriage among adolescent girls, educating them about nutrition, health, and life skills to enhance their self-competency, and empowering them. It also aims to increase their knowledge about legal rights, vocational training, and social media, as well as organizing visits to public places.

Eligibility

Female adolescents, particularly those in higher secondary school, are eligible to apply. There are no income limits for individuals or families.
