This scheme provides a 100% free travel pass to students studying in primary schools, middle schools, higher secondary schools, colleges, polytechnic colleges, and technical education institutes. It is aimed at students traveling from rural areas to nearby cities or villages using State Transport (ST) buses. The scheme has been in effect since September 1, 2007, and offers fortnightly, monthly, or quarterly passes based on the academic session's completion date.
