The scheme "Promotion of Tiatr Through Academic Activities" was launched by the Tiatr Academy under the Art, Culture and Museums Department, Government of Goa. The scheme aims to create interest in Tiatr among students of educational institutions and tiatr lovers in villages and cities. The scheme provides for the creation of awareness about tiatr, its song, and music through academic activities such as talks, symposia, seminars, and workshops. These activities, which must have at least 20 participants, can be organized by the Tiatr Academy of Goa alone or in collaboration with other institutions or individuals, with the Academy covering various expenditures and providing necessary materials. The scheme is implemented by the Tiatr Academy of Goa on a 'First Come First Serve' basis, and applications for this scheme are accepted as per the availability of funds.

- • Awareness Creation: Awareness about Tiatr its song and music will be created through academic activities such as talks symposia seminars and workshops. • Resource Person Honorarium: Resource persons will be paid an honorarium as fixed by the Tiatr Academy of Goa for every session with the amount dependent upon the distance from their residence to the venue. • Expenditure Coverage: The Tiatr Academy of Goa will cover the expenditure incurred on Resource Persons refreshments and food (lunch or dinner) served to participants. Additionally any other miscellaneous expenditure made in organizing the activity by an institution or individual by way of collaboration will be taken care of by the Tiatr Academy of Goa. • Provision of Materials: The Tiatr Academy of Goa will provide essential materials including a backdrop certificates for the participants and stationery. • Documentation Coverage: The Tiatr Academy of Goa will document the Symposia Seminar

Conditions
*Prior approval will be required from the Tiatr Academy of Goa before finalizing the resource persons, if the activity is organized in collaboration with others.
*The cost of refreshments or food to be served must be verified and approved by the Tiatr Academy of Goa before finalization.
*The scheme will be implemented strictly on a ‘First Come First Serve’ basis.
*Applications will be considered, and benefits disbursed as per the availability of funds.
Eligibility
• The applicant must be an educational institution or an individual interested in collaborating with the Tiatr Academy of Goa to organize academic activities for promoting Tiatr.
• The applicant must ensure the number of participants for conducting the Symposia, Seminar, or Workshop shall be at least 20.
• The applicant must obtain prior approval from the Tiatr Academy of Goa before finalizing resource persons, if the activity is organized by others in collaboration.
• The applicant must get the cost of refreshments or food to be served verified and approved by the Tiatr Academy of Goa before finalizing them.

Offline
Step 1: The interested applicant should take a printout of the prescribed format of the application form.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required). Sign the application form and mention the date.
