The scheme "Promotion of Patriotism/National Integration/Communal Harmony - Production of Musical Programme or Tiatr" was launched by the Tiatr Academy under the Art, Culture and Museums Department, Government of Goa. The scheme aims to project patriotism, nationalism, and communal harmony through tiatrs, songs and music, addressing the need to promote these values through cultural performances and artistic expression. The scheme provides remuneration as fixed by Tiatr Academy of Goa to successful applicants and covers actual charges of hall/auditorium or pays a lump sum amount for performances held in makeshift pandals, along with video recording of the activity with one Digital Video Disc copy provided to the applicant. The applications for this scheme are accepted offline.

  • A few seats should be reserved by the organizer(s) for the representatives of Tiatr Academy of Goa
  • The Tiatr Academy of Goa banner should be compulsorily displayed at one of the two front side wings of the stage and returned after all shows
  • The organizing institution/individual will have to discuss with Tiatr Academy of Goa and decide about the Chief Guest or Guest of Honour well in advance
  • Remuneration as fixed by Tiatr Academy of Goa will be provided to the applicant.

  • The Tiatr Academy of Goa banner should be compulsorily displayed at one of the two front side wings of the stage and returned after all shows.
  • The organizing institution/individual will have to discuss with Tiatr Academy of Goa and decide about the Chief Guest or Guest of Honour well in advance.

Eligibility

  • The applicant must be an individual/organization/educational institution/club.
  • The applicant must propose an activity that is a tiatr/musical programme on the theme of patriotism/national integration/communal harmony.
  • The applicant must ensure the duration of the musical programme or tiatr is not less than two hours.
  • The applicant must submit the application along with typed script/lyrics at least 30 days before the date of staging the programme.
  • The applicant must attach No Objection Certificate from the lyricist/writer/director concerned if they are not the lyricist/writer/director of the proposed activity.
  • The applicant must ensure scripts/lyrics do not contain any adverse remarks against any Governments/Individuals/Institutions or anything against caste, creed and religion.

Application Process

Offline

Step 1: The interested applicant should take a printout of the prescribed format of the application form.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required). Sign the application form and mention the date.
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to -

*Applicants are advised to save a copy of the submitted application form and any acknowledgment.
*The scheme will be implemented on 'First Come First Serve' basis.
*Applications will be considered as per the availability of funds.

Post-Application Processes

Step 1:**** Programme Coordination
Upon approval, the organizing institution/individual will coordinate with Tiatr Academy of Goa to discuss and decide about the Chief Guest or Guest of Honour well in advance, with the President or Vice President of Tiatr Academy of Goa or nominee serving in this capacity.
Step 2:**** Banner Collection and Display
The applicant must collect the Tiatr Academy of Goa banner from their office and ensure compulsory display at one of the two front side wings of the stage during performances.
Step 3:**** Performance Implementation
The applicant must stage the approved programme ensuring all conditions are met including free public access, reservation of seats for Tiatr Academy of Goa representatives, and proper acknowledgment in all promotional materials.
Step 4:**** Post-Performance Requirements
After completion of all shows, the applicant must return the Tiatr Academy of Goa banner to their office, and the payment cheque will be issued in the name of the applicant as appearing at Serial Number 1 of the application form.
