The scheme "Promotion of Konkani Songs with Choreography & Dancing" was launched by the Tiatr Academy of Goa, Government of Goa. The scheme aims to promote Konkani songs by presenting them with choreography and dancing, attracting youth towards Konkani 'kantar' and improving the presentation quality of Konkani cultural performances. The scheme provides cash prizes ranging from ₹2,000/- to ₹7,000/- for winners along with mementos and certificates, and traveling allowances between ₹1,000/- to ₹2,000/- based on distance traveled by participating groups. The applicant must form a group of 6 to 10 participants and submit a recording of one selected Konkani song at the time of application. The scheme is implemented by Tiatr Academy of Goa and applications for this scheme are accepted offline.

Eligibility
- The applicant must form a group consisting of 6 to 10 participants.
- The applicant must submit a recording of one selected Konkani song at the time of application.
- The applicant must not perform fusion of songs as it will result in automatic disqualification.
- The applicant must abide by all rules and regulations of the competition organized by Tiatr Academy of Goa.
- The applicant must accept that the decision of the judges will be final and binding.
Application Process
Offline
Step 1: The interested applicant should take a printout of the prescribed format of the application form.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required). Sign the application form and mention the date.
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to -

*Applicants are advised to save a copy of the submitted application form and any acknowledgment.
*The application must be submitted to the office of the Tiatr Academy of Goa at least 30 days in advance of the proposed programme date.
*Applications are considered on a "First come First Serve" basis, subject to the availability of funds.
Post-Application Process
Step 1: Competition Details
Wait for Tiatr Academy of Goa will communicate the venue, date, and other competition details to participating groups.
Step 2: Participate in Competition
Attend the competition at the designated venue and perform the registered Konkani song with choreography and dancing.
