The scheme "Project Sankalp" was launched on 15th July 2020 by the Gujarat Skill Development Mission (GSDM), Labour and Employment Department, Government of Gujarat. The scheme aims to revolutionize vocational skilling, making India the global skill capital with globally competitive skills and competencies. The scheme provides an industry-led vocational skilling program, enabling the industry to fulfill its demand for skilled manpower and providing youth with sustainable employment opportunities. The scheme is implemented by the Gujarat Skill Development Mission. The applications for this scheme are accepted online through the GSDM portal.

Benefits

  • Training Cost Reimbursement The Industry Partner will receive reimbursement for training costs per candidate per hour:
  • NSQF Category 1 Job Roles: ₹49
  • NSQF Category 2 Job Roles: ₹42
  • NSQF Category 3 Job Roles: ₹35.10
  • GCVT Job Roles and Company-Specific Job Roles: ₹36.75 (which is 75% of the Category 1 NSQF job role training cost). The training cost for NSQF Job Roles is subject to amendments as per MSDE notification, and the cost for GCVT and Company-specific job roles will also change accordingly. Assessment Cost Reimbursement GSDM will reimburse the assessment cost directly to the respective Sector Skill Council (SSC), Gujarat Council of Vocational Training (GCVT), or Kaushalya Skill University (KSU) for both fresher trainees and existing employees. Any re-assessment cost for candidates who were absent or failed the first assessment, or for existing workers/employees, must be borne by the Industry Partner.   • After entering both OTPs, the applicant should click the "Verify & Save" button. If the OTPs are successfully verified, a confirmation message will appear, indicating successful basic registration.
  • Subsequently, the "User Name" and "Password" for the account will be generated and shared with the applicant via their registered email ID and mobile number.

Step 4:**** Initial Login and Password Creation

  • Using the newly received "Username" and "Password," along with the Captcha displayed on the login screen, the applicant should log in to their account.
  • For security purposes, the system will then prompt the applicant to create a new password by entering a "New Password" and re-entering it in the "Enter Confirm Password" field, followed by another Captcha.
