The Production of Foundation Seeds scheme is designed to provide subsidies to farmers who cultivate seed farms specifically for Pulses crops. The scheme is sponsored by the state and aims to support farmers in their agricultural endeavors. The subsidy is available at a rate of Rs. 1000 per quintal, with specific allocations for SC/ST farmers (24%) and Farm Women (20%). All farmers raising seed farms for Pulses are eligible to apply, subject to the availability of funds.
